Product Manager Solutions Architect Full Time NEW

Job Purpose: Product ownership & management, solution design and support for product specific pre-sales engagements, training and consultancy.

The individual will play a key role in the overall success of Becrypt, working closely with the stakeholders across the business including engineering teams, sales, marketing and senior management to evolve and articulate the technical and business value for Becrypts innovative products and solutions.

A primary responsibility will be as product owner for one or more of Becrypt’s products, working directly with the products engineering team(s), chief architect and internal stakeholders to ensure that the products meet customer and business expectations in the long and short term. The role will also require working directly with customers, partners and internal stakeholders (sales, presales and program managers) to collaboratively design and deliver product-based solutions, supporting integration, evolving the technical relationship and providing training and professional services as required to ensure success, and where required, owning customer and partner relationships.

The successful candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and be comfortable managing senior stakeholder, technical and end user engagements. They must also be able to travel as needed to attend customer and partner meetings.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide thought leadership to support development, marketing and sales activities
• Product Ownership within the Scrum/Agile development team(s)
• Support business development, technical evaluations, pilots and proof of concepts
• Respond competitively to technical responses for RFIs/RFPs
• Deliver customised product demonstrations at customer/partner meetings and calls, and other marketing conferences and seminars
• Support prospective clients through the sales cycle by providing pre-sales technical support on all aspects of the product’s architecture design, integration and operation
• Escalate and manage technical issues through support and engineering, in order to deliver customer success
• Engage, train and support Becrypt partners and customers in territory to expand sales coverage and drive market awareness
• Mutually agreed ad-hoc tasks  

Skills/Experience:

Essential:

• Successful experience as a Product Manager, Solutions Architect or in a traditional Technical Pre-Sales role within the Cyber Security industry
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity architectural principles such as defence in depth, resilience, and integrated security operations with the ability to apply
• security principles to systems and enterprise system designs
• Proficient in MS & Linux operating systems; good understanding of general operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking and network security concepts
• Ability to make decisions and resolve problems effectively – Seek out information and data to evaluate, prioritize and formulate the best solution or practice
• Working knowledge of both symmetric and asymmetric cryptography
• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
• Self-starter, able to self-manage and work effectively from a remote office or home
• Strategic thinker with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Demonstrable success of using initiative and creativity in the development of solutions for partners and customer
• Committed to continuous professional self-development

Highly Desirable:

• Experience working for or with HMG, Defence or other CNI sectors (in a technical role)
• Experience using Cloud platforms, ideally AWS and Azure
• Experience with Docker and micro-services orchestration technology
• Knowledge of, or experience with Cross Domain technology
• Knowledge of, or experience with API’s and API Gateways
• SCDV Clearance
• CISSP accreditation
