Senior Corporate Tax Professional (Part-time or Full-time)

Axada is a boutique firm of accountants and tax advisers working with global businesses with many located in the DACH region. As part of our team, you will be advising international companies expanding their operations to the UK. We are seeking a senior tax professional with solid corporate tax experience in a practice setting and with proven team management skills.

The role will suit someone who can demonstrate experience in business development as well as excellent technical knowledge in corporate tax. Job responsibilities include:

• Managing client relationships and acting as the main point of contact for clients, always ensuring excellent communication and service levels.
• Managing compliance work efficiently within the team and ensuring clients’ tax affairs are filed in a timely manner and in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Leading technical assignments efficiently and within budgets, managing the clients’ expectations on costs, billing and timelines, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the firm’s procedures.
• Planning and delegating work appropriately, supervising and reviewing work carried out by the team and ensuring departmental and company KPIs are met and continuously improved.
• Managing departmental staff, including their training, development, and appraisals.
• Being part of the management team involved in business development and leading on identifying advisory and new business opportunities. This can include attending client meetings, business events, delivering seminars and webinars

About the candidate

You will have solid corporate tax experience including international aspects and effective team leadership skills, with an interest in and/or aptitude for business development. Opportunities for progression are open for the right candidate with excellent support for training and development needs.

• Minimum 5+ years tax advisory, compliance and management experience in a practice setting and a client facing role
• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
• CTA qualified
• Proven experience in managing a team and a large client portfolio.
• Experience in business development
• Knowledge of German language is desirable Salary and Benefits
