DevOps Team Lead Full Time

Job Purpose:

The DevOps team is expected to design and build infrastructure used in production services along with assisting our development teams with new infrastructure and solutions to support our software release cycles. The Devops team also act as the go-to team for cross platform problems and IT system setups.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve our Continuous Deployment and Integration pipeline
• Collaborate across engineering and the wider business to improve integration and release processes
• Work closely with senior members of the Engineering team to design and implement technical solutions to support core product development and deployment
• Develop and maintain internal engineering services like Jira, Jenkins, Sonatype Nexus, Kubernetes and Azure deployment pipelines
• Managing a small Devops team
• Code reviewing CI/CD pipeline code
• Creating for new services and supporting product teams to enable adoption of new technologies

Essential Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Linux knowledge and good bash scripting skills
• Basic Windows and Active Directory knowledge for authentication along with power shell
• Good debugging and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with administering CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, version control systems like GIT, Jira, Trivy, Sonarqube and, Nexus
• Docker or Kubernetes container deployment and administration
• Strong understanding of Python
• Good understanding of networking principles

Desirable:

• Ansible
• Azure
• Cisco CCNA Equivalent Knowledge
• Helm Charts
