We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the costs of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on budget and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Procure and manage subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices
• Monitor project costs and identify any deviations from budget
• Prepare and submit interim and final payment applications to clients
• Assess and negotiate variations and claims
• Maintain accurate project cost records and prepare final accounts

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of construction cost management principles, methods, and techniques
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• A degree in quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field is preferred
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred
