Cleaner Part Time

Cleaner – Glasgow Office (Ref: 948)

Salary: £13.82 per hour, £10,779 pa.

Location: 2 Rutherglen Links, Glasgow, G73 1DF

Hours of Work: 15 hours a week working 7 am to 10 am, Monday to Friday

The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers is one of the UK’s largest trade unions.
A vacancy exists for a Cleaner based at the Union’s Glasgow Office.

Principal duties are: to provide a cleaning service, ensuring that the building remains clean and hygienic.

The successful applicant will possess: previous cleaning experience in a similar environment; knowledge of COSHH and PPE Regulations and of safe working practices; the ability to demonstrate initiative, judgement and take appropriate action to respond to daily cleaning requests; the ability to communicate effectively; well-developed planning and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work in order to meet deadlines; the ability to respond to change, be adaptable and flexible to the changing needs of the job and the Union.
