We are a leading retailer in Manchester, and we are looking for an experienced and driven Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, planning and forecasting sales, and ensuring that the right products are available at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies that support the overall business objectives
• Work closely with the buying team to plan and forecast sales, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels
• Analyse sales data and use it to inform decisions around pricing, promotions, and stock levels
• Manage the allocation and distribution of stock to stores, ensuring that the right products are available in the right quantities
• Monitor stock levels and take action to address any discrepancies or issues
• Liaise with suppliers and manage the relationship to ensure that products are delivered on time and in the right quantities
• Work with the visual merchandising team to ensure that products are displayed effectively in store
• Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, stock levels, and other key metrics

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of retail merchandising and inventory management
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, colleagues, and senior management
• A proactive and results-driven approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A flexible approach to work, with the ability to work weekends and evenings as required
