Job Title: Commercial Sales Manager – Outdoor Sports & Playground Equipment
Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday
Geographical area covered: Office Role
Location: Burscough Lancashire
Remuneration: £35K to 40K basic + bonus

Based at our Burscough office and reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing new sales within the commercial & construction sector. The role will be fully supported with ongoing product knowledge training & sales process training. You will already be an experienced sales professional with a strong work ethic and looking for your next step on your career path.
Industry Sectors: Main contractors, Subcontractors, Landscape Architects, Local Authorities, House Builders, Holiday Parks.
In this primarily office-based role, the ideal candidate will be a successful, well-established sales professional within the playground / outdoor sports industry, bringing with them a wealth of industry knowledge and existing relationships with key contacts.
As an accomplished negotiator with strong closing skills, they will be able to demonstrate a detailed worked knowledge of the bureaucracy of procurement processes with local authorities as well as within the construction industry. They will also possess excellent account management skills.
Some experience of identifying and bidding for relevant public tenders will be helpful, as would some knowledge of specification sales, though not essential.
You will enjoy support from our Marketing Team in terms of generating relevant leads for you each month as well as introductions to warm contacts.
However, you will also be responsible for self-generating enquires via your existing network as well as pro-actively using a nationwide construction projects database (paid access provided) to track relevant schemes, make necessary introductions and bid for works.
