Join Electron-X as an Electrical Engineer

At Electron-X, we specialise in high-quality industrial X-ray systems and services—from large lead-lined rooms for aircraft engines and advanced multi-axis manipulators to compact cabinets for inspecting electronic components.

We’re expanding and looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Milton Keynes as soon as possible.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Electrical Design
• Creating wiring diagrams and panel layouts
• Control Panel Testing
• Procurement – Managing bills of materials, ordering components and liaising with suppliers
• Panel Assembly
• Installation Drawings – Designing cable management layouts and schedules
• On-Site Installation & Commissioning – Collaborating with contractors and supporting commissioning activities
• Bonus Skills – Familiarity with computers and software tools is a plus

What We’re Looking For

• Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Strong MS Office skills (Word & Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Quick learner with a proactive attitude
• ECS card is beneficial but not essential
• Full UK driving license required
• Knowledge of ISO 13849
• Experience with SolidWorks/See Electrical

Experience in the X-ray industry is not required—full training and support will be provided.

The Offer

• Location: Milton Keynes office
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
• Salary: £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience
