IT Support Engineer Full Time

Position Overview: As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT systems to keep our operations running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical problems, providing timely assistance to end-users, and contributing to the overall improvement of our IT processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to IT support requests via various channels (phone, email, ticketing system) and provide timely and effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable fixes.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, peripherals, and other hardware devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
• Assist in maintaining IT documentation, including user guides, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support for critical issues on a scheduled basis.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and technologies to propose innovative solutions that enhance our IT environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role, demonstrating strong technical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and other common business applications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• A customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Preferred:

• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Cisco CCNA.
• Experience with remote support tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of basic scripting or programming languages.
• Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
