Part-Time Affinity Relationships Administrator (21 hours per week) – Media and Communications Department – Head Office (Ref: 897)

The Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers is one of the UK’s largest trade unions.

A vacancy exists for a Part-Time Affinity Relationships Administrator based at the Union’s Head Office.

Salary: £31,773 pa rising to £38,054 (pro rata to £19,624 pa rising to £23,503 pa for a 21 hour week) after four years’ service.

The principal duties are: under the direction of the Head of Media and Communications, to provide general support in dealing with the Union’s Affinity Partners, and to increase the number of organisations offering services to our members.

The successful applicant will possess: the ability to communicate effectively; proofreading skills; IT skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, including the ability to set up and maintain databases; the ability to work without constant supervision and be able to handle several projects simultaneously; an understanding of the Data Protection Act/GDPR and how these relate to media and communications; strong customer service skills and the ability to deal with queries and complaints professionally.
