Our client, a leading automotive dealership based in Birmingham, is seeking an experienced and motivated Body Shop Manager to join their team. As the Body Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the body shop, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the body shop.
• Ensure that work is carried out to the highest standards and in a timely manner.
• Manage and motivate a team of body shop technicians, ensuring that they are trained and developed to the highest standards.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
• Liaise with insurance companies and customers to ensure that repairs are carried out efficiently and effectively.
• Monitor and manage the body shop budget, ensuring that costs are kept within agreed limits.
• Implement and maintain systems and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the body shop operation.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar Body Shop Manager role.
• Excellent knowledge of body shop operations and repair processes.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• The ability to motivate and develop a team of technicians.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A customer-focused approach with a strong desire to exceed expectations.
• Strong IT skills, including experience using CRM systems.
• A full UK driving licence.
