We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Care Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our care home. As the Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times, while managing a team of care staff to deliver exceptional service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.
• Maintain a high standard of care for all residents, with a focus on promoting their independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Recruit, train and manage a team of care staff, ensuring they are fully supported to deliver exceptional care.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families and external stakeholders, such as healthcare professionals and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure that all records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date, and that all relevant policies and procedures are followed.
• Manage the care home budget effectively, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are used efficiently.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a senior management role within a care home setting.
• Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation, including CQC requirements.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to residents.
