Job Description:

We are currently seeking a caring and dedicated Care Support Worker to join our team in London. The successful candidate will provide a range of care and support services to our clients, including personal care, domestic assistance, and companionship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care, such as washing, dressing, and grooming
• Support clients with mobility and other physical needs, such as feeding and toileting
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in conversation and activities as appropriate
• Carry out domestic duties, such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry
• Administer medication and assist with medical treatments as required
• Participate in care planning and review meetings, ensuring that the needs and preferences of clients are met
• Maintain accurate records of care and support provided to clients

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a care home or similar setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Empathy and compassion for the elderly and vulnerable
• Understanding of the principles of person-centred care
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to care home operations
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Full UK driving licence
