Job Description:

We are currently seeking a professional Door Supervisor to join our team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff, ensuring compliance with licensing laws and regulations, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check the identification of customers and ensure they meet age requirements for entry
• Monitor crowds and control entry and exit points to ensure the safety and security of customers and staff
• Respond to and manage any incidents that arise, including conflict resolution and emergency situations
• Report any incidents or breaches of security to management and relevant authorities as required
• Provide excellent customer service and deal with any queries or complaints from customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Conduct regular checks of equipment and facilities to ensure they are functioning correctly and report any defects to management
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and equipment checks

Requirements:

• SIA license for Door Supervision
• Previous experience as a Door Supervisor or similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of licensing laws and regulations
• Ability to use technology, such as CCTV and access control systems
