We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Prepare technical drawings and specifications for electrical installations
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to establish project requirements and timelines
• Supervise the installation and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on time
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment, identifying and resolving faults and issues
• Carry out preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure they remain in good working order
• Provide technical support and advice to other departments, including sales and customer support
• Keep up to date with developments in electrical engineering technology and regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field
• At least 3 years’ experience in an electrical engineering role, preferably in a building services or construction environment
• Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, including BS 7671 and IEC standards
• Experience with electrical design software (e.g. AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel occasionally for work
