Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Security Manager to oversee our security operations and manage our team of security staff in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and customers, and implementing security policies and procedures in line with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the security operations of our premises, including monitoring CCTV and access control systems, and responding to any security breaches or incidents
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and relevant legislation and regulations
• Manage and lead a team of security staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to reduce potential security risks and threats
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including the police and other emergency services, to ensure effective communication and coordination in the event of a security incident
• Monitor and manage the security budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently
• Provide regular reports to senior management on the effectiveness of security measures and any incidents or breaches that have occurred

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Security Manager or similar role
• Proven track record of implementing effective security policies and procedures
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think strategically and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to security operations and data protection
• Experience in managing security budgets and resources
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
