We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our team at a private school in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in the delivery of high-quality education to our students.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons
• Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management
• Providing individual and small-group support to students who require additional help
• Preparing teaching materials and resources
• Marking and assessing student work
• Contributing to school events and activities

Requirements:

• A degree in Education or a related field
• Relevant experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient and flexible approach to work
• The ability to work well as part of a team
