We are seeking a qualified and experienced Patent Attorney to join our intellectual property team. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on all aspects of patent law, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting patentability searches, and providing infringement and validity opinions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of patent applications and advise clients on patent strategy
• Draft and prosecute patent applications in the UK and Europe
• Conduct patentability searches and prepare patentability opinions
• Conduct infringement and validity analyses and prepare opinions on the same
• Advise clients on patent licensing and patent litigation matters
• Keep up-to-date with changes in patent law and regulations
• Represent clients in hearings before the UK Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office

Requirements:

• Qualified UK or European Patent Attorney with at least 3 years of experience in patent law
• Strong knowledge of UK and European patent law and regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Experience using patent software and databases
