Job Title: Childcare Assessor

Location: Bristol, UK

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Childcare Assessor to join our team at a training provider in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing learners in Childcare and Early Years qualifications up to Level 3.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting initial assessments and creating individual learning plans for learners
• Delivering high-quality training, coaching, and support to learners in line with their individual learning plan
• Carrying out assessment and quality assurance activities, ensuring that all assessments meet the required standards
• Supporting learners in the preparation of their portfolios and assignments
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date learner records and assessment documentation
• Working collaboratively with other assessors and the wider training provider team

Requirements:

• A relevant qualification in Childcare or Early Years (e.g. Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education)
• A recognised assessor qualification (e.g. TAQA or A1)
• Relevant experience in assessing Childcare and Early Years qualifications up to Level 3
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
