Job Description:

We are currently seeking a professional and dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and customers, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the premises and control access to ensure the safety and security of staff, customers, and visitors
• Conduct regular checks of the premises to identify any potential security risks or hazards and report them to management
• Respond to any alarms or breaches of security and investigate any incidents that arise
• Report any incidents or breaches of security to management and relevant authorities as required
• Provide excellent customer service and deal with any queries or complaints from customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Conduct regular checks of equipment and facilities to ensure they are functioning correctly and report any defects to management
• Follow all relevant health and safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

• SIA Security Officer licence
• Previous experience as a Security Officer or similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations related to security operations and data protection
• Proficiency in the use of security-related software and technology
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
